Lawrence school produces approx 150 kg of food waste and 100 kgs of horse dung daily on their campus. Our founder Dr.Sridhar as a scientific advisor in VNS enviro biotechq PVT ltd have installed a BIOCHEST Composting Initiator with Windrow Composting suitable for composting 250L of waste per batch. using the compost initiator on their campus.
The waste will be shredded into small pieces, with the given shredder. and the shredded waste was fed into the initiator. With proper proportions of wet, dry waste, and microbial inoculum, the initiator runs for 2 hours, which mixes the waste together and initiates the composting process.. The mixed waste was put in windrows for 3- 4 weeks to produce good quality compost.

Semi automatic Natrual composting Machine
In a semi-automatic composting system, wet and dry waste are mixed with bacterial inoculum for two hours. The remaining composting process occurs in the yard for four weeks, resulting in nutrient-rich compost.
